Why I do NOT approve of gay “marriage”

I’m not trying to step on any toes, and I will be the first to say: I AM NOT A HOMOPHOBE.  My mom watches Ellen AND Will & Grace.  However, as an educated christian conservative, I feel it is my duty to enlighten the people of the internet on why an EDUCATED PROFESSIONAL does not believe in gay marriage.  Reason one: marriage has historically been between one man and one woman.  Throughout history, in every culture, it has been the same for years.  Up until recently, homosexuality was non-existent.  Homosexuality is a recent phenomenon brought over at about the time of slavery (not saying it is a related, but it makes you think.)  Speaking of that, reason two: gay marriage will spread the AIDS.  The AIDS is a rapidly forming infection that is VERY EASILY transmitted during homo-sex.  The AIDS is deadly, I know I don’t want my future children to be infected, so I stand proud as a non-supporter.  Think of the kids!  The future of America!  Reason 3: gay marriage encourages homo-sex.  The beauty of discouraging gay marriage is that it has been PROVEN (in multiple studies) to prevent homosexuals from having sex.  The logic is:  ”If I can’t get married, I obviously am not gay, therefore I will not have homo-sex.” It is basic psychology, ask any psychologist. Reason four:  Okay, I know the libbers like Ellen like to make fun of this one, but it is fact.  It is a slippery slope, folks (and no, I am not talking about lesdyke sex..lol) If we allow two men and two men to get married, who is to say it can’t be 50 men and a 13-year-old white girl?  Who is to say it won’t be 2 guys, a girl, and a pizza place?  This is a valid argument, because it is valid.  I don’t want to bring God too much into this, because I am giving an educated response from a scientific POV (that is “point of view”), however, the good book said it itself when it proclaimed ADAM AND EVE, NOT ADAM AND STEVE. I don’t mean to offend anyone here, I just needed to get this off my chest and say my piece.

I love my bisexual friend and his boyfriend. They rule. I have a lesbian friend too.  I have an openly lesbian teacher at school. She’s awesome. I have an openly gay male teacher as well, he has a boyfriend. Do I care? Nope. I have multiple bi/gay/lesbian people in my life. They’re just like everyone else. Who cares? I’m straight, they’re not. Big deal. It’s not like one day people are like YO I’M GOING TO BE GAY NOW. Yeahhhh, no. I didn’t choose to be straight, and neither did you, asshole. By the way, if you have to say “I don’t mean to offend anyone,” you most likely know what you’re saying is incredibly offensive to many people.

I don’t believe in god and I’m not religious but I know plenty of people who are who will willingly admit that they don’t believe every word the bible says. I suppose you think people who eat shellfish are going to hell and eating shellfish is just as bad as people being gay, right?

Starting off your argument with “I’M NOT A HOMOPHOBE” doesn’t mean shit if what you’re saying is basically homophobic. I could go around saying “I’M NOT A MURDERER” while killing people, but does that make it true? Yeah, I didn’t think so. Nice flawed logic there, buddy. I also like how you say you’re not a homophone because your mom watches shows with gay people in them. First of all, your mom does not equal you. My mom does a lot of things that I don’t agree with and don’t do. Second of all, I know homophobic people that watch TV shows that have gay people that don’t complain. It’s a fucking TV show. TV isn’t real life unless it’s a documentary.

Anyway, your first reason is completely invalid. Things change throughout history, you know, in case you haven’t noticed. I don’t think we had computers and all these things we do now 6,000 years ago. Plus, no one knows who the first homosexual person was. Some say it dates back to B.C., some say other things. Don’t make up bullshit statistics in attempt to prove yourself right. Weak. Just because people didn’t show their pride in being who they really are a lot back a long time ago doesn’t mean there weren’t gay people.

Some form of male-to-male sexual contact does in fact have the highest amount of people with AIDS. However, if you look at the rest of the stats, there are a fair amount of cases NOT from some kind of gay sex. According to this, 47% of the cases of AIDS are not from gay sex actually (counting the 1% from ‘other’). That is only 6% higher than the combined stats involving homosexual sex on here. So, there you go, once again, not a good enough point. Good to know someone so ‘educated’ does SO much research before trying to make a ‘point.’ ALSO, even if gay marriage isn’t legal THAT DOES NOT EXTERMINATE GAY PEOPLE. Whether they’re married or not, they’re still having their relationships. I don’t see how this affects you at all. ”If I can’t get married, I obviously am not gay, therefore I will not have homo-sex.” If someone believes that, then they probably aren’t gay, so really that changes nothing. Either way, whether the marriage is legal or not, gay couples are still going to have sex probably even if you say it’s “less” (which if that’s true, it’s probably but an incredibly small amount). What the hell is with the thing about your future children being infected anyway?! Are you saying if your children end up gay? If you have a child that ends up gay, you better damn well love them just the same. I don’t know who you are but I will get someone to hunt you down fucker, that’s so wrong if you don’t love a child as much just because they’re gay. Also, expecting them to get AIDS just from being gay is extremely ignorant.

“This is a valid argument, because it is valid.” Wow, I bet that’s how major debates are won! “My point is valid because it is!” Good to know you have lots of good points to back up your thoughts. How educated! Comparing gay marriage to pedophiles is stupid. Someone’s been worshiping things as TOTALLY unbiased as Faux news. Curious; do you think interracial relationships are bad too, considering you felt the need to mention “white girl” for some reason. Anyway, there is no correlation what-so-ever between pedophiles and gays. Pedophiles have things wrong in the head and they are NOT born pedophiles, while on the other hand, there are many perfectly normal gay people and they are born that way. Being gay isn’t a choice. If you say it is, you better tell me the story about how you chose to be straight. Also trying to compare a human being to a building is beyond ignorant and inconsiderate.

Get your head out of your ass and stop being so close minded you ignorant bastard. Grow up and learn that gay people deserve to be married just as much as straight people. There’s no reason (you had virtually no valid points in that whole blog) for gay people to be degraded and treated as less than a straight person.
